Celebrate the rainy season with a whimsical "April Showers" clay workshop! In this session, you'll hand-build a charming rain-inspired piece—think umbrellas, rain boots, or a cozy cloud design. Perfect for beginners and experienced creators alike! ☔ Instructor-led session: Step-by-step guidance to build and customize your clay piece. 🎨 Glazing & Firing: Includes kiln times; you’ll return to glaze on a later date. 👩👧👦 Ages 6-10: Must have a paid adult participant (max 2 children per adult). 🚫 No refunds after booking; spots are transferable if filled. Staff & Safety Assurance: All of our staff members have record checks, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for everyone attending our classes and events. Thank you for booking the Clay Hand-Building Class! *PLEASE READ* You'll receive half a pound of clay to craft whatever you like. Need more? Additional clay is available for purchase. Our friendly staff is here to assist if you need help shaping your vision. Once your piece is complete, leave it at the studio to dry—this takes about one week, depending on thickness. We'll give you a call when it's ready for kiln firing. At that time, a $5 glazing fee will be collected to ensure you return and paint your piece. With clay unlike ceramics pieces cannot be glazed on the bottoms (great to keep in mind while you create) Please note: Clay is a delicate medium, and while we take great care, we are not responsible for broken or damaged pieces during the drying or firing process.
